Last » Re: Read only Rows for a Repeating Table in Infopath... Ok! So the issue is the rule on submit that is setting the NotesCombined field. I think you should put that on UserNote instead - after the rules that set user / date. And you'll want it to also set NotesCombined to blank if the UserNote field is blank, just like your other rules. When the rule setting a repeating element (like NotesCombined) ... Posted to General (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 06-03-2019 Re: Read only Rows for a Repeating Table in Infopath... My guess is that the field with the rule is outside of the repeating table, so it is overwriting all the instances of the field. Can I see a copy of your form? Posted to Controls (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 06-03-2019 Re: now() function question Sorry - add seconds, not minutes: concat(number(substring(xdDate:AddSeconds(xdDate:Now(), 10800), 9, 2)), "_", number(substring(xdDate:AddSeconds(xdDate:Now(), 10800), 6, 2)), "_", number(substring(xdDate:AddSeconds(xdDate:Now(), 10800), 3, 2)), "_", substring(xdDate:AddSeconds(xdDate:Now(), 10800), 12, 5)) Posted to Controls (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 05-31-2019 Re: now() function question You should be able to use the addMinutes function to add 3 hrs to a datetime. Let me know if you need more info. Posted to Controls (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 05-31-2019 Re: Invisible calculated field?? If you need the data promoted (i.e., showing in your form library) then you need it be a field in the form's data source. But you can have a field in the data source that doesn't show on the form. in the data source task pane, right click the group where you want the field, select Add, then add your field. Promote it to your library when ... Posted to General (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 05-30-2019 Re: Calculating Business Days Between Two Dates Good detective work! Try this one - I moved the total hours from a default value to an action on the BegDateWN / EndDateWN fields - on the second rule where you are setting the work days. You'll want to test this carefully in the browser tho - sometimes browser forms can be a bit more persnicketty, so something that is working in preview may ... Posted to Code (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 05-29-2019 Re: Calculating Business Days Between Two Dates I've gotten you a little closer, I think - save the attached file locally, right click, select Design and then you can preview, etc. The main diff I saw between your form and the sample you linked is that your form is a SharePoint list form, so you don't have plain date datatypes - even if the list is set to only display dates, it will ... Posted to Code (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 05-29-2019 Re: Calculating Business Days Between Two Dates I don't know of any specific pointers on what you may have in your form rules that is causing this - but I'd be happy to take a look at it to see if I can help you. You can attach a copy of your form under the Options tab in a reply. Posted to Code (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 05-29-2019 Re: Repeating Textbox using Secondary connection (InfoPath 2010) So - this isn't easy. It would be nice if it was. I'm guessing your intent is to have a table that the user can fill out - with just the first column pre-populated? If you just need to display the data, you can do that from the secondary data connection. If you need to store data that the user enters into the form, it is trickier. You ...
