Hi Zhen,
If you are just storing the XML in it's entirety, everything will roundtrip correctly.
If on the other hand, you are using DBXL's qdFile system doctype to store images and/files and convert into links, you should be able to use our File Picker XTP to handle multiple ones. I'm going to ask someone to respond with a sample ...

Hi Ged,
DBXL also has a Convert function that you can call to save an XML as a separate doctype. You could add a button to your form that calls the Web Service and converts the existing XML into a new doctype but the schema of the current XML must be forwards compatible with the schema for the target doc type you are converting to.
The method ...

Hi Siraj,
Thank you for your purchase. Can you please send your XSN along with any code to our Qdabra's Support alias (Support (at) Qdabra (dot) com) and we will investigate this tomorrow. I think it is a coding issue and that's why we need to look at the code.
Thanks!

Hi Matias,
sorry, I don't quite understand. why are you "adding another data connection"? Are you using that to get the string value for error message? If so, why not just query the Web service if it fails. You can use another rule for that. Sorry, I don't quite understand your question though.

Hi Donna,
Curious that you should ask that question. We've been trying to get that exact same scenario to work for the last two weeks and we have been unsuccessful. We can't figure it out. If we do find a solution, we'll try to remember to post here.
Sorry!

Hi BissetTBD,
Typically, we just set the value in the form before saving using a globally unique identifier or a derived key. Neither works for normal PO#s though since the values are not what your customer's expect for an ID. I would use a key that is created using date and time in the following format: YYYYMMDDNNN where NN is a unique PO ...

Why can't you add a rule that fires when the value is selected in the dropdown box that copies the value from the parent using a filter?
-
Hi Homeslacks,
If you're using browser based forms, why not just add a web part to show the data view and publish your infopath form to promote fields to the web part on submit. Then you can have a refresh button in your form that submits the values to your web part and those can then be filtered. Should be easy.
If you're using a rich ...

Hi Shankara,
Views don't correspond to schema sections. The data source (called the "schema") is independent of the views so you can't create an XML fragment for your Web service based on your view. You could use a data-driven Web service, like Qdabra's DBXL which allows you to conditionally specify some nodes to map based ...

Great to hear you figured it out!
And, *THANKS* for posting your intelligence so that others can benefit. :)
