When you add an action to set a value for a secondary data connection (Web Service), you need to choose from the data source. The Web Service will appear under the main data source. I'm assuming you are trying to set a query parameter. Let me know if you can't find it.

As long as the additional data fields are not required, you should be ok. We have a blog post on this... let me check ...

I think we can come up with a solution for you that doesn't involve qRules, but we can also just comp you qRules since you have a DBXL license. qRules doesn't require any client machine config and we even have Non-ActiveX Contact Selector that uses it and is specifically designed to work around that issue.
Let me search and see if ...

Hi Ppushkar2001 and welcome!
One important question for you: is the new B server site URL in your local intranet or not? Look at the settings in the status bar for your browser and see if it says Internet or Local Intranet or Trusted Sites. If it's in Internet, try adding the new URL to yoru local intranet via the ...

Hi ClayDevin and welcome!
While I can't be certain, I am going to guess that this is an issue with your xpath. To create a flag that is row-specific, you'll need to use the current() function in xpath to make sure it loads the Due Date from the current row and uses that to compare to the current date which can be retrieved via the Today() ...

Hi Jim!
As far as I know, UDC files are site collection, site or sub-site specific. You want to publish UDCs for each site (or sub-site) and then have your InfoPath form refer to them using a relative path. First, just try to publish your InfoPath form to a new site and specify the new UDC file. It should be easy to modify the data connection to ...

Hi RSharePoint,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. After you add the Webpart you have to configure the properties and set the ServiceURL, DocType, etc. to point to the correct Web Service location (e.g. http://<server>/QdabraWebService/DocumentService.asmx) and Document Type. SharePoint has a UI to set these parameters for hte Web ...

Thanks for the quick response. I'm looking at your form and have a couple questions:
Which Web Method are you using to query DBXL for the images? Are you using QueryDB?
How are the images stored in SQL? Are they stored as BASE64 images?
Where do the images come from? Do they come from another InfoPath form or a separate ...

We do this all the time with DBXL Web Service, which exposes a method for deleting documents.
You could look for a SharePoint Web Service method that deletes documents and if one exists you could write code to call it. Or, you could just install the free trial of DBXL and have it working in under an hour.

Hi Dan,
BCS has quite a few limitations - for example: http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/t/17826.aspx .
We generally recommend creating a Web Service or using an off the shelf one, like Qdabra's DBXL.
Cheers!
