Not that I can think of, at least not with InfoPath out of the box. If you promote the fields with the merge setting, they will be semi-colon delimited. Perhaps there is a way with a customized data view web part (which I think are still available in SharePoint 2010?) to parse that data out. You'd want to make sure all the fields are required, ...

Hmmm. I'm not sure. I wonder if you added the form as web part and then passed in a URL param to query the library for the correct form, then rules to populate all the fields.... that sort of depends on how complex your form is tho. ...

Looks like switching back to 4.3 resolved the issue, and was an acceptable work around, which is good news!

We determined that your old form was using 4.3 and your new one 7.2, so there may be some difference causing this.

May I see your form? You can attach it under a reply under the Options tab. FinishedLoading gets set to true when the code DLL for qRules is completely loaded. But I'm wondering if something is wrong with the qRules schema in your form.

Ok, good. So this is a List form. When I look at the field settings from the schema, I can see that in the List this text field was set to have a max. char. count of 1 - the only thing you could have done was change the list settings to allow more characters. So creating a new field was probably the right way to work around.

Thank you so much for posting the root cause for others - If you hear back from MS on the support ticket & can update with details when they have a resolution, that would be appreciated!

Here's a blog post from Greg Collins from back in 2005 that I still refer to for help with the preceding-sibling axis, in case it is helpful for you as well: https://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/greg/archive/2005/06/13/Using-XPath_2700_s-_2700_preceding_2D00_sibling_2700_-Axis-Correctly.aspx

I think I'm being unclear. I understand that your InfoPath form has data in it from a SharePoint List. What I'm trying to understand is about the InfoPath form itself - the XSN file where you are seeing the issue - is it bound to a data source, or a web service, or was it created from an existing schema? Can you attach a copy under the ...

Here's a sample - save locally, right click & select design, then preview. I'm just summing the previous numberapproved and adding in the current in mine. I think for your schema the formula for the default value for totalnumberapproved would be: sum(../preceding-sibling::my:yearrpanel/my:numberapproved) + ../my:numberapproved
