Hi
I have just checked my suspicion and "Changed Event" code is not supported in Browser capable forms. I confirmed this by designing a new blank form enabling only those features that are complatible with browser forms and going into 'Tools' and 'Programming' and ONLY "Loading Event" and "View ...

Hi
Reading through all those posts was exhausting but just thought I would mention a few things. I got used to SQL by designing my form in Access and then using the upsizing wizard to recreate it on my Sql 2005 Express Edition Server.

Hi
How are you submitting, via a web service? That determines whether the submit is succesful or not, it sounds like the web service doesn't recognise a new record until a fail occurs, almost like it is holding on to the old data until it finds out it is wrong and then ditches it.

Then do not submit the data back to the database but rather on email as an XML file. It will sit in their outbox until ...

Hi
Looking at the tutorial I happened to notice that instead of a combo box the tutorial uses the drop-down list box but having tested them both it makes no difference.
If we were following the example the specific piece of work that is causing your issue is the Rule mentioned from step 6 on.
I would perform the tasks in this order to ...
