Hi Rajeev,
Whew, that sure is a lot of date fields! InfoPath 2007 is a little bit better about doing calendar comparisons, but I don't know if it can handle all of this. I would add code that runs on the OnAfterChange event on each of the date pickers that gets all of the values from the date pickers, loads them into DateTime objects ...

Hi Spudy
Look at silly me posting something you've already seen, haha! I really think this is an XPath issue. Are you sure that your "User List" DOM is also using the my namespace? If it is from another form, it might be using this same namespace, but with a different value. You should check this by ...

Sorry for the misunderstanding and bravo on figuring it all out! Thanks for posting your solution for everyone else!

Hi Soham,
Cool calcs! This is a nice little trick I like to use:
(number(position() = 1) * FirstRowFormula) + (number(position() != 1) * AllOtherRowFormula)
This results in only applying the FirstRowFormula where position() = 1, and then only applying the AllOtherRowFormula wherever position() != 1. Gotta love those mathematical ...

Hi Raoul,
If you already have the connection to the Access DB, this should be pretty easy. If you open the Data Source taskpane and look at the connection that is pointed to Access you should be able to expand the dataFields to see a repeating table that represents all of the rows in your Access query. If you drag-n-drop this ...

Hi Thierry,
I don't think this will be possible with just an XPath. The path is not stored anywhere in the XML. The best I can do for you is give the filepath where the form template is saved. That's in the PIs, so you can access it with XPath. Try adding an expression box to a template with this ...

Hi Michael and welcome to the forums!
You are very close! The line where you are getting the error should look more like this:
var strSQL = XDocument.DataObjects["NameOfSecondaryDataConnection"].Command;
You might also want to check out this blog post which discusses doing the same thing in a slightly easier fashion: ...

I'm having a hard time understanding this question. Are the dates in B and C actually literal dates or is there some kind of relationship between them that when fulfilled should set A = B? Also, what is in the drop-down list?
An explicit example would be helpful to solve this.

Hi Rajeev,
Are you publishing to a SharePoint server? If so, there is an option in the publish wizard to publish to a form library. If it's a normal web server, you should publish to the virtual directory on the network or the server, and in the last step of the wizard where you can edit the publishUrl - insert the web-based URL that ...

I don't know if you'll be able to do this by code. Maybe if you set your PDF printer to be the default printer you could add a function call to print to this. I'm not sure how well this will work out though, and it's likely to require Full Trust.
I use CutePDF to print to PDF - it works pretty well, ...
