Hi Jack,
It has to do with the data source schema for the first list. In your InfoPath form, go to data and fields and click on the dropdown next to Main and select the "Firm Profiles" data connection. Expand the data fields. Probably it's not showing a repeating structure and therefore you can't copy ...

Qdabra's qRules will support inserting items and you don't have to write code or bother trying to figure out someone else's blog post. There's a free trial available here: http://www.qdabra.com/en/products/qRules_new.aspx and the Insert command is simple to set up - just look a the command overview for examples.

Are you seeing this in the browser or the filler?
Rules only fire when the value changes. Maybe the browser is "intuiting" it wrong. Go to the property for the checkbox and click on the browser tab and choose always.
If that doesn't work, check the default values for your checkbox.

I recommend refactoring the multi-select into a repeating table with dropdowns and checkboxes or something like that.

Hi Pam,

We have an XTP that does this. http://www.qdabra.com/en/forms/QdCheckInOut.aspx
If you already purchased qRules, we can give you a discount on this. Please email support ...

This will only use it when viewing the form ...

You can use the count function that is built into InfoPath with a condition check inside to see if an answer was set.
To use a ...

Hi Julie713 and welcome,
The lack of a quick answer probably means people are shoveling snow or pruning trees or something like that (it's the weekend)...
InfoPath doesn't have good support for pagination when printing. Having said that, printing from a browser form is just printing from the browser. InfoPath is not ...

I'm guessing it's because the multi-line list value only has a carriage return (or a line feed) whereas InfoPath requires both. I recommend using two translate functions. The inner translate will take the carriage return (CR) or linefeed (LF) and convert to a special value (say two asterisks - **). Then, the outer ...
