You have to add a filter to your field: substring(eval(eval(field19[. != ''], 'concat(", ", .)'), "..") , 2) Posted to Controls (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 07-11-2019 Re: Submit one to many to database, secondary source needed as lookup I'm going to need a sample, or some screenshots - I just read through the description again, and I'm having trouble understanding the DB structure you want in the form. You can always attach your form to a reply and I can delete it after I download it (if you are worried about the DB connection info in the form). Does it not submit correctly? Posted to General (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 07-11-2019 Re: Submit one to many to database, secondary source needed as lookup Yeah, this would have to be a database bound form or you would need a web service - the company I work for has one, DBXL, that does this, and you pass in the XML as a string and there is a mapping that parses the XML to the DB. Posted to General (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 07-11-2019 Re: writing values from a multiple-selection list box to another control You can use a substring formula and swap the comma and the node. substring(eval(eval(field19, 'concat(", ", .)'), "..") , 2) I think will do it. So - I often have this problem on my main monitor, and a restart usually fixes it (the resolution for InfoPath ONLY goes wonky when I dock / undock my laptop from my larger monitor) but I haven't yet been motivated to find a way to handle it other than restarting, since we mostly use browser forms internally and I haven't been doing ... The error is interesting, since it makes it look like there is a missing parenthesis. Any chance I could see a copy of your form? You can attach it under the Options tab in a reply. I think you need to add a data connection to the SharePoint user profile service, then get the email by setting the query field for GetUserProfileByName to the account ID of the people picker, execute the query, and get the returned mail value. https://claytoncobb.com/2009/06/21/userprofileservice-extended/is an old article but has good details on ...
