Hi Pcheru,
Where is the project name data for that user being saved? Is it in an XML file that the user filled out and submitted? Is it in the same form library or a different one? You will need to query that data and then filter based on current user. If the previous user only has one project name associated with them, it will be easy, otherwise ...

We don't make much money from the accelerators (and none from this site which costs us a lot every year). We're here to help you bridge the InfoPath gaps. Let us know id you need help. We're here to make you shine.

Well, I'm not sure why your friend recommended a web part in place of a Web Service. Seems they don't have any clue about InfoPath solutions architecture ...
Anyway, you can download Qdabra's free trial. It's easy to install and set up and it's inexpensive and a best practice since it's the only "data-driven" Web ...

We'd be happy to show you a 10-15 minute demo of how you can set it up (either on a local computer or a server) to map your forms and create simple ...

Hi Elon2000,
You certainly don't need Access to do this, but Access could do it. Really, it depends on what you feel comfortable with. I don't like Access because I don't really have much experience with it.
We use SQL instead of Access. You could certainly map your forms to SQL and create a nice Excel report to aggregate them - ...

Confused. InfoPath allows you to calculate all of the values at once in the form without code - just use xpath expressions.

Hi Kim,
You can definitely do this with a Full Trust form and some code to save the separate XML fragment from the section. Qdabra's qRules supports saving XML fragments without the need to write code but only to a locally installed database (DBXL). You could do it all locally without having to do Full Trust or code but that would ...
