The easiest fix is to make sure that both the Main DOM and 2DS have the same field name (including the same namespace). Even if both were named ''Text'' if one was ''Text'' and the other was ''my:Text'' replaceChild would still not work because they have to be the same fully qualified name (i.e. the namespace must match too).
But you don't always ...

This is because you are using select''SINGLE''node... which does just that. It selects a ''single'' node... typically the first one.
One way around that is to use a filter in your XPath, similar to this:
IXMLDOMNode User = ConfigForm.selectSingleNode(''/my:Config/my:Administrators/my:Administrator/my:Admin-Alias[. = ''' + UserAlias + ...

One way is to turn off the insert/delete functionality altogether and use buttons to accomplish what you want. Look into the ExecuteAction method in the InfoPath help and in the forums/newsgroups for help on this.
Other than that, there is no way to get rid of that widget.

This is not an easy to answer question. It mainly depends on your performance requirements. If 20 fields makes performance slow to a crawl then it is too many.
The bigger issue is not the number for fields (columns) but the number of rows returned. If you have 20 fields with 10 rows, performance should be just fine. But if you have 20 fields with ...

The titlebar displays the name of the form (which when it is unsaved is Form1, Form2, etc) and then the name of the application.
If you saved your form as ''AV (123343:1995) (3:1)'' and then loaded it again, you would see:
AV (123343:1995) (3:1).xml - Microsoft Office InfoPath 2003
Note the addition of the ''.xml''.
To change it other than ...

Currently there is no way to make a custom message. As I recall from my own encounters with this, once you place upper and lower limits directly into the schema, the InfoPath default message always appears before you can do anything about it. That means it appears before OnBeforeChange, OnValidate and OnAfterChange.
The only recourse you have if ...

It sounds like you are not working a repeating cascade. Have you read this how-to article:
Create a Cascading List from a Flat Data Sourcehttp://www.infopathdev.com/howto/tutorials/default.aspx?i=4e038a7f3f5b443bbe4db49f86d95fba
This walks you through exactly what you are trying to do.
The filter you describe above will not work because you are ...

My first question is what are you ultimately trying to do with this? Do you actually need these values in a Rich Text Box, or can you just display them inline, using Expression Boxes, in the view? The view would be a static version of the text you are trying to insert these values into.
Secondly, yes, you can do what you want... but you will need ...

Because you have a repeating table, you will need to filter using the current() function. Take a look at the how-to articles on repeating cascading lists. These will give some idea how to use the current() function:
Create a Repeating Cascading List from a Flat Data ...

Hmm. I don't know of any direct way to enable/disable the toolbar buttons unless they are tied to insert/delete of optional/repeating sections -- and then its fairly automatic.
I do recall reading other discussions (don't recall where) in which people used full trust forms and code that reached directly into the InfoPath window to do this kind of ...
