Hi Bill,
I’ve had a look at your form and the Excel file you provided us, and I believe I have a DateDiff
formula that will work in your case:
concat("DateDiff /date1=", my:EndDate, "
/date2=", ...

Ok, well is there some part of the Query Field functionality that you don't understand? The idea is that you would simply set the ID query field in the data source to the value that was selected, and then perform a Query a data source action. If the ID is unique, this should return just one row, and you can copy the values over with out any ...

So would /dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/my:SharePointListItem_RW/my:Party_x0020_Name be the field in the main data source where this rule is taking place? If so, does this speed up the performance at all?

AuthUsername [is not equal to] userName() will evaluate to true if any of the AuthUsername values are not equal to userName(). What you should use is: All instances of AuthUsername are not equal to userName() The all instances of option should be available in a dropdown when you use the Select field or group dialog to select ...

This can be done quite easily without code. Just add a rule to copy the value of your AccountName field to the AccountName field in the GetUserProfileByName data connection, and then query the data connection. This could either be a rule on the AccountName field itself, or on a button if that makes more sense in your scenario.

We have done solutions that use custom code and Outlook interop to send e-mails with attachments from InfoPath, but this is fairly complex and requires a full trust form.
Possibly a better solution is to save your attachments out to SharePoint to convert them to links, and then you would have the links in the body of your e-mail. This ...

There isn't a way to change the origin of a dropdown's values at runtime. The only thing you can do is modify the DOM that it's bound to. Could you elaborate a bit more about your scenario and why you are trying to do this programmatically?

A few questions:What version of InfoPath are you using? Query fields are a built-in feature in 2010 and later. Are you saying that the data connection you are using to populate the dropdowns already has the telephone number and other values you need, or did I misunderstand that?Could you show us the exact formula you are using right now (after ...

Hi Ben,
I'm very sorry it has taken so long to respond. In your initial post, had you been referring to the DBXL Admin Tool (DAT), or to the Standalone Dashboard? Typically the Standalone Dashboard should be installed automatically when DBXL is, but it looks like something may have gone wrong in your case. In this case, could you please ...

You shouldn't need code to do this. The way you can do this is:Create a field called Calculating with the default value false (preferably this would be in a secondary data source, but you can put it in the main data source if you're not sure how to do thatPut a rule on the Percent field as follows:
Condition: Calculating is not ...
