To submit to a document library the user needs to have permissions on the SharePoint library and they have to have at least contribute.
Managing access to documents in SharePoint can be hard sometimes, granular permissions are not always easy.
One thing you could do is to setup a library that is for submit only and that a workflow in SharePoint ...

What exactly is the InfoPath 2003 v 2007 issue you mention?
I see problems with folks who have both 2003 and 2007 installed on their machine, InfoPath often does't know how to open that file (or gets confused about what version to open it in) and throws an error

Hi Darryl,
I got your email inquiry about pricing, I will reply to that email shortly.
Regarding the promoted properties, DBXL doesn't care about promoted properties - you can map any field in your form to SQL via our tool so you can do reporting totally independent of SharePoint promoted properties. Many of our customers find that ...

However, I think you might find using our qRules product a much better way to accomplish what you need to do. qRules will accomplish the same results as the article you linked to but I think you will find working with ...

Hi Darryl,
Working with documents in a SharePoint library can be tricky - I feel your pain on having to re-link all those documents to get the data to show. SharePoint 2010 has the option to re-link all at once which is nice but I think you must have 2007? You might be able to check out and check in documents to get the same result, ...

Hi,
I think in order to manipulate the name you are going to have to use a web service to pull the data in correctly. We do offer a web service to do this called "Active Directory Web Service" which actually pulls from the GAL rather than the SharePoint list of users. With our tool you can also pull in all the information ...

Hi, it sounds like an issue with the layout of the form causing that extra space. If you post the template to this thread I can take a look and see what the issue might be.
Sometimes the cells in InfoPath can cause this by adding extra padding in there you don't need.
