Great! Thanks for posting your solution.

Hi Gaya,
You can use the Eval(eval(...)) trick to iterate xpath functions but there is no xpath function for copying values from a secondary data source, so you have to use some code. Since we get asked this question a lot, we created qRules back in 2007 to address the common coding questions that we get asked a lot. qRules can do a filtered copy ...

Hi Narayana,
Qdabra's Electronic Signature Template Part doesn't support encrypting the data in SharePoint because that would require decrypting it in the form which would require yet another PIN or password! :).
I believe the documentation just recommends setting up permissions on the SharePoint list to only allow the owner to see ...

SQL data types are not the same as InfoPath. In particular a date-time field in SQL is not the same as a date-time field in XML. XML date types are strings of the following format: 2011-02-18T00:27:49. You'll have to convert to that if you want to use date picker control in InfoPath. I recommend just treating them as strings in the InfoPath ...

You will have to code this in C#. qRules is code free in the sense that it works via rules but that's because it injects the code that does it into your form. Search for qRules SubmitToSharePointList and RefreshListItems. Hilary Stoupa has a nice blog on it as well and I'm sure she'd be happy to help. It takes a little configuration to ...

Sure you can do this. We do it all of the time from SQL (we store our XMLs there). It's a very powerful data-driven approach since it makes it easy to config forms on open based on dynamic query. However, to do it dynamically from SharePoint will require some code or qRules. That's because the data connection to the XML file is dynamic. If ...

ShP 2010 comes with "sandbox" feature which means you don't need to admin-deploy. Sorry to hear you're on MOSS 2007 still.
Hopefully, you can ask an IT operative to give you permissions. Even without qRules, you'd have to write code and get admin-deploy. qRules isn't requiring anything extra there.
Thanks for trying it ...

Hi Gaya_B,
That's a strange error. We will need more information from you. Maybe you can attach your form or screenshots.
Thanks!

Hi Exemplaris,
Sorry for my rant. We'll try to tone it down here. We are committed to helping the InfoPath community and we appreciate those who support us in doing so.
Yours truly,

Hi KerrieJones,
Do you have access to SharePoint Designer? If so, you can edit the page and remove the Upload. If not, I recommend creating two libraries and having the create operation add a setting that you can use to execute a copy and delete workflow to the second library. Then, all of the forms in the first library will be those that were ...
