So, the attached sample is pretty rough, but hopefully gives you some ideas. Save it locally, right click and select preview. Enter a value in the scan field that is present in the table that I've got showing data in it (sort of a pretend list table, since we can't connect to each other's data sources) and you'll see the row is ...

How awful. I'm glad you posted about this - I'd not run into it before. https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/ie/en-US/40e450dc-27c8-4ed1-a217-861a97fc020b/sharepoint-online-switches-to-mobile-view-in-a-desktop-browser?forum=sharepointgeneral indicates that you might be able to add a URL param to the link to force it to open in ...

Yeah - so if you will fill out one form a day, you might be able to use default data for this. In an InfoPath form, under the data tab in the ribbon, you can open the default data pane. From there, you can add instances of a repeating group or field. I think that you may need to do that here - just add the highest number of rows you think ...

I'd get rid of the two fields for qty and x. Instead I'd add a field in the repeating table that concats the info together the way you want it, then apply the eval to that. See attached - save locally, right click and select design to preview and see the changes I made.

It isn't possible, and here's why. The data structure for a multi-select is repeating. InfoPath includes one blank instance by default - when you select or deselect items in your multi-select, nodes are added or removed. If you preview your form and select a few options, then use File > Save As to save the file, you can open the XML in ...

Ok, I understand a bit better now. Yeah, the issue is that you really need a way to store in your form's main data source the items that have been done - is the data in the SharePoint list re-used from one form session to the next? That is, if I scan item 112233 in the form today, might I need to do it again tomorrow?

May I see your latest form?

Any chance I can see your form template? I understand so much better when I have a form I can poke at. :) You can attach it under the Options tab in a reply.

I'm not sure. Is this the same result you see in the form in the field? That is, if you put the log field on the form (or look at the submitted XML in notepad, or look at the value in the promoted field) is the space there? My initial guess is that it is somewhere in the form logic, but it doesn't seem like any of these are set via rules.

Yeah, that's odd. Is the "x" something that is typed in? Or is there a rule adding that?
