• Re: Calculate Percentages for total

     Please try this:  100 * count((tq2.1 | tq2.2 | tq2.3)[. = "Yes"]) / count((tq2.1 | tq2.2 | tq2.3)[. != 'N/A'])

  • Re: Submit to DBXL

    Yes, that was what I meant. What do you mean when you say you don't get any values returned? Is there no Result or Error value? I'm assuming that you're assigning the value of that formula to qRules' Command node when the Submit button is clicked, right?

    You should use the /doctype= parameter to specify the name of your document type if you or your users will be opening the form template from somewhere other than DBXL.

  • Re: code for updating a listbox based on choices from selection from another list box

     Will you be using your form in a browser? If not, you may very well be able to accomplish what you need using filtering, and no code. But I'm a bit confused about what you are trying to accomplish with that code. Could you give a bit more detail about what you are trying to do?

  • Re: XPathNavigator.Clone() not really cloning?

     If you want to insert items to the front of the list:1. Select the first item in the list. 2. Insert a copy of it after itself using InsertAfter(). 3. Modify the first item in the list (selected in step 1).I don't see any reason why you would need Clone() in order to do this.

  • Re: Calculate Percentages for total

     Yes, you would use the formula as the default value for the field where you want to store the value, or you can just use the formula in an expression box if you only want to display the value and not store it in the form's data. You can use the Select Field... button and its Filter functionality to set up the formula with the ...

  • Re: Calculate Percentages for total

     Might it be that the formula you want is:100 * count(RepeatingField[Answer = 'yes']) div (count(RepeatingField) - count(RepeatingField[Answer = 'N/A']))

  • Re: Multiple Selection Boxes - Validation Question

     It doesn't seem that InfoPath allows placing validation conditions on multi-select listboxes, so what you can do is add expression boxes with conditional formatting to indicate when something isn't right. You can use similar conditional formatting to disable your submit button or anything you need to do to steer the user in the ...

  • Re: Query about response view and repeating section

     I'm suggesting that you place the conditional formatting on the repeating section itself, not the controls inside it. Unless I've misunderstood your situation, this is the way to accomplish what you want.
