Hi Amvvv,
We don't do much Access. To pull your records into your XML forms I think you have 2 options:
Batch create the XMLs in advance
Query the database when the form loads (or when the user selects a value from a dropdown)
The first option (#1) is going to require some custom coding. Qdabra (sponsor of this site) provides an ...

Are the approvers in parallel or will they be approving in a sequence?

This is by design. Values must be unique. Displays need not be unique.

Right, it's looking for 'Microsoft.Office.InfoPath.Client.Internal.Host.Interop. This is a programming issue, not InfoPath. Sorry dude!

You should be able to filter out to only show the one for this year. You can use either in-form filtering (slow) or server-side filtering via FilterOwssvr (use qRules to dynamically parameterize). Hi Trisha,
Sorry for the delay in responding to you. We have a function that does this in qRules (SetValue) and there's a free trial download. If you have code in your form already, you will want to read the document that explains how to integrate with forms with code.
Cheers,

You should be able to just drag and drop the fields from a secondary data source into your view. There shouldn't be any errors. We do this all the time. Are you using InfoPath Form Library or SharePoint List Forms?

As far as I know that is not supported. I recommend putting the lookup values into a separate list and creating a data connection to that and binding the dropdown in your InfoPath form to that.
