Hi Hilary, Im currently using the Sharepoint Online and I read there that there's really nothing we can do unless to re-design the infopath form (for now im trying to find ways to not remove the dropdown as it is compulsory to the users). • Display file name of the attachment or the attachment with its file name in the text field.

Hi, My InfoPath form has the file attachment. When I tried to attach a file to the main form and I wonder if there is a way to display the file name of the attachment OR this attachment with its file name on the text field to another form view, is it possible? Any suggestion is greatly appreciated! Thanks, :-)

  • Re: search in a large multliselect checkbox

I think using an "or" in the filter so that either items match the search text or they are already selected might do this. See attached - right click the link, save the file locally. Right click the saved file, select Design and then you can preview, take a look at the filter, etc.

With multi-selects, selecting an option generally adds a new instance of a repeating field to the data. I don't think you'll be able to do this with JavaScript - you actually need to manipulate the data source.

It may be you could set some query fields to help with this, but I wouldn't expect a query to a list with 400 items to cause this....does another one of your data connections return a greater amount of data? You may want to narrow down which one causes the issue by setting all of them to not run on load, then ...

  • Data Connection has exceeded Limit

Hi Guys, I really need your help on this. I've created 5 site which each sites contains 4 different forms, and after few months of using an error pops-up saying "the amount of data that was returned by a data connection has exceeded the maximum limit that was configured by the server administrator". I tried un-checking the ...

  • Re: Data Connection Maximum limit error

i solved it by adding multiple secondary data source. Eg there was a data source abc which pulled data for 14 items in the form. I created another source abc1 and divided the 14 items to 7-7 each. This solved my problem.
