Hi Tom,
That button has been removed from recent versions of the tool, if you click the ... button (it's a button with three dots) next to the field selector, the form schema will load in the taskpane without any need for the Extract Schemas button.
Hope this helps.

A date picker can display a date in various formats, but an XML form stores date in a generic format. That's the format you're seeing in the history field. I think what you're seeing is expected. If you save the form to your local drive, and then open it in Notepad, you'll see that the date picker field is actually storing the same ...

Hi-
We recently discussed a similar question here:

Could you check if the advice there helps?
Thanks!

Please check the data types of the fields. If the data type is set to date, the format would be 2013-06-21. The format dd/mm/yyyy would probably come from a text field only, not an XML date.

Hope this helps!

Sorry, not sure what you mean. If a field is required, it will be required regardless of whether the form is submitted from the Ribbon, or from a Submit-type ...

What field did you select before clicking Filter Data? After Insert field or group, which field was selected for the filter you are adding?

I don't believe there's anything out of the box in InfoPath to allow you to do this. You would have to write custom code, or use a third party tool like qRules. Here's a previous discussion that might shed some light on how to do this using qRules.

Hi-
If you're talking about the default InfoPath widget that allows inserting new rows into repeating tables or sections, there's no functionality in InfoPath to add rules to that click. The only thing the click will do is to insert the row. Perhaps you could create conditional formatting (to hide/show controls) associated to ...
