Yes this is not easy.
InfoPath was designed to be an electronic form and has limited print support.
You can manually mess with the header and footer by extracting the form files and editing the manifest directly.
There may be a way to embed a graphic that way.

I think what you are looking for is a CAML query.
You can actually update or insert items into SharePoint using a CAML. Do a search here on CAML and you can find some instructions.
Otherwise you would need to use a Business Data Catalog in Sharepoint to try and link to your database data.
Another option, is if you have ...

Unless you use a web service, you cannot filter or "query" a secondary data connection.
You would have to load the data and then use a filter to only display the data that matched the filter or exclude what you did not want.

Does it matter if all of the fields are completed?
Does InfoPath only submit a partial record or leave some blank? I would try some testing with that.

This is interesting.
There must be a change between infoPath 2003 and infoPath 2007.
I know some of the Outlook integration changed, i assume that is how the mobile users are viewing the forms within Outlook?
You may want to contact Microsoft on this, I guess I did not realize you could even view forms on a Windows mobile via Outlook.

Hi Catherine.
Unfortunately it is not possible to switch views twice in one sequence.
However I have been able to do what you describe. User clicks submit, 1 action switches view, second action submits email with the view as the body.
Are you sure you are switching views then submiting to email?
I have done this with browser forms as well as ...

This can be done, and I think it is preferrable.
I have seen the hyperlink put into the subject line or Intro by concatenating the library with the file name of the form.
If all you want is the template then that is static and should be very easy.
Also with IP2007 you can select not to attach the form which automatically puts a link ...

Attachments are encoded in the file itself and do not go into Sharepoint on there own.
I would either use code to browse for the file and place it in Sharepoint with a hyperlink in InfoPath or attach it and extract it to Sharepoint.

With 2007 they have a date +1 function.
You would need to use datediff() vbscript. Do a search on datediff and you should find some samples.

The other option would be to hide the section either automatically or with a button.
