It is ok, I fixed this problem. I added a rule that Changed the fields value to 001 if NaN was returned.

So I am having an issue with an auto file name and field when submitting a form.
The form created is for a process called a Request for information. I want to auto generate the next number in sequence for the filename/RFI Number. This works as long as there is an initial form already created:
max(RFI_x0020_Number[Originator_x0020_Company = ...

I have a repeating table with an 'Amount' field and I have a 'Total' field to sum all amounts. Separate from these, I have another field that I'm trying to concatenate the total sum from the 'Total' field with another date field on the form. This is how I did that:
Date field: concat(substring(pay_date, 6, 2), ...
