My hunch is there's some primary key or ID or something that you are using to open the form and that's causing the lockage. Best of luck... Best regards, Posted to Qdabra Active Directory Web Service (Forum) by Patrick Halstead on 05-15-2011 Re: DBXL and SharePoint enforced Check-in/out Hi JMdream, I'm going to submit this to Qdabra's Support alias. Sounds like there might be an issue with DBXL submitting when the file is checked out and I'll investigate whether this is a DBXL bug or not and whether it is fixed in DBXL v2.5 (release in March) or not. If not, we will open a high priority ... Posted to Qdabra Database Accelerator (Forum) by Patrick Halstead on 05-15-2011 Re: Wildcard code fails only once connection has been converted to sharepoint...please help It's a permissions issue. Since the UDC will connect to SQL directly you need to add credentials to the UDC file. Unfortunately, these are viewable by all. Is that what you want? If not, you'll need to write a Web service, or just install our DBXL one - no code and you'll be up and running in 30 minutes with complex queries. Cheers! Is this mainly for business intelligence (reporting) or do your end users also need to see the data? Do you want to display it as a sub list underneath your main form rows? You could also use our Web Service, which stores your XML in a database and allows 1-n queries ... If you have a field in the repeating table (in the repeating section) and if that field looks up values from a ShP list, it shouldn't change the others. What does your data source look like exactly? Do you have cascading dropdowns? Thanks! You can configure the page so that selecting an item shows the details in a form below (all in the browser). Should be pretty easy to do your scenario which is not complicated. Very simple scenario. Start with the data ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Patrick Halstead on 05-10-2011 Page 152 of 507 (5063 items) « First ... < Previous 150 151 152 153 154 Next > ...
