Hi Chintan.Desai,
Yes, there is a thing known as an "Error Board". You can access this error board using your own code or qRules GetErrorCount command.
Good luck!

Hi EnthDegree_ and welcome,
We built a loosely coupled (data- or schema-driven) Web service back in 2004 to solve the data normalization problem you are referring to - in other words, rather than build a separate hard-coded Web service for every template, we built one generic Web service that works with all templates. The Web service is called ...

Hi again,
It must be the Word injection stuff. We will need to fix qRules to handle that scenario. In the meantime, it's probably easy for you to manually add the xd namespace to the form. You'll have to create a new folder and export the blank xsn as source files (see button at bottom of File->Publish section). Open up the folder that ...

SharePoint Lists do not support rich XML forms. Specifically, you don't have any support for repeating structures (tables, sections). And, there is no hierarchical information. Even though SharePoint lists use InfoPath they are not really XML forms and thus they cannot be used for most forms without creating a lot of complexity on the ...

The Xd namespace should already be declared because InfoPath uses it for controls. It's possible that the namespace is missing from your version or was changed. Questions:
What version of InfoPath are you using?
What language are you running it in?
Can you create a blank form using InfoPath designer, save the XSN and inject ...

Hi Morphguy112,
How do you tell if they are in the row? You could have them click a checkbox to edit and use that information to display the submit. Or, you could do it when they change a field (same idea as checkbox). Without some interaction, the only way to get current selection is through code. qRules 3.1 includes the Context feature which ...

Steps 1-5 look easy to do. For Step 6 you will have to provide extranet config or use Email-to SharePoint approach or to some internal users. Mel Balsamo has a blog post on the latter.
Regarding your questions:
To autopopulate XML we have a tool that created XML from an Excel spreadsheet. You could export SQL data to an Excel spreadsheet and ...

Hi R,
I'll answer the submit side of InfoPath. Let me know if you also want info on query options.
SharePoint Form Library
Pros: simple out-of-box SharePoint data connection - just convert to UDC file for browser forms, promote fields and you have it; should be faster than submitting from client, easy integration with ...

Hi Donna,
Jimmy's on vacation until next week. Not sure if he is checking the forum but I know he isn't working. :)
Can you wait until Tuesday or Wednesday or is this more urgent?

Hi Timberhawk,
Probably your xpath is incorrect. Go to the main data source and right click on the node for the fldCNumber and choose copy xpath. Paste that into notepad and inspect it. Probably need to add a my: namespace or something. Also, you may want to look at the Count(), Position() and Current() functions in xpath. Best of luck.
