If I recall correctly there isn't a way to "reset" a list form so it will submit another new item. The work around is to set up the form to submit multiple items, and then use some formatting & rules for setting the common fields all at once. Here is a thread that talks a bit about this approach: ...

Is the field that you changed the business purpose? I can see the field in the XML has XHTML in it. Do your new forms filled out after this change display correctly?

I think the answer is maybe - I think you'd have to add a counter of some kind in the form for this (and then, if there might be a large number of these selected, you might run into rule errors about looping). But at a high level - you could have a counter field with the total count of selected personnel and then have a rule on it to get the ...

Hi - I'm not sure what you are doing to make this change. Did you change the field in the InfoPath form and then re-promote it? Your existing XML probably have XHTML in them - that may be a little messy to try to get that to now show up in your newly promoted column. Download one of your existing files and then open it in a text editor and you ...

Hi - just updating this thread with my reply in email. I believe that in a modern view library you can use the "Sync" option and that will force promoted properties to update when this happens. I've also used PowerShell to download all the files in a library before and had success with that approach.

My guess is that there is an error on the condition or in the rule - when the checkbox is in the section, open the rule and check the formula - and re-verify the condition. Feel free to attach a copy of the form to a reply if you need a hand.

I am guessing that this is a library form, published to a library. Your existing items won't have the new field present. If you download one and open the XML in a text editor, you'll see that the new field isn't there. You will probably have to open and resave each existing item. Try with one and see if the data shows up. If it ...

I don't know of a way to do this. You may want to add a link to the new form and then in your "old" form (the one in the old form library) add logic that just hides any buttons for saving or submitting if there is a copy in the "new" library. So that if they open up from an old URL or something they can't actually save ...

Yuck. I guess the one thing I might try is to removed the promoted property, publish, re-add the promoted property, republish. Then just open one existing XML and see if the promoted property is populated - generally you just have to "touch" the XML to get the property to update (as long as it is associated with a field that is in the ...

Is there only one promoted property affected? Are there other promoted properties in the form? What tool did you use to migrate with? I'm wondering if the promoted property itself is the issue - I suppose you could try republishing the template as is to the library.... You might also check the library settings - any chance there are multiple ...
