Yes, I think you are right about the namespace issue. As I was reading through your latest scenario, the same thought crossed my mind. You will need to use .setProperty() on objNewDoc after it gets Set. You will need to find out what the namespace is in Bravo.xsn and use that value in the setProperty() method.
Once you've established the ...

So you are referring to Undo within the designer and not within the editor. I've not really paid much attention to how Undo works in the designer.
As for losing the rules on the buttons when you copy-pasted... that is unfortunately the expected behavior. Why? Not sure. I think its a bad behavior, but that's how it is. Those rules will have to be ...

Are you using a relative or absolute XPath in your call to e.Site.selectSingleNode()? That makes a difference. It sounds like you just want to update a text box on the same row as the check box. This being the case, your XPath should be relative (i.e. ''../my:TextBox'').

Are you trying to set all fields with the same name inside your repeating group to the same value? If so you can do this with Rules... it automatically updates each field of the same name.
Otherwise, you need to use .selectNodes() rather than .selectSingleNode() to get all the nodes of a particular name. Then you loop through the nodes that were ...

This is some weird issue with the header/footer. If you delete what's in there, it comes back. To get around this:
A) Type a space character after deleting... then it updates the contents to the space character instead of returning the old content.
-or-
B) Extract the form files and remove the unneeded header/footer nodes from the manifest.xsf ...

By any chance were all the updates that are being undone made by code? When you make multiple code changes before giving control back to the user, they all count as a single 'undo'.

A minor change to what you've got because you have no way to guarantee that XDocuments(1) is ''really'' the new form you just opened. It could be a different form, if you have others open.
1 - Set objNewDoc = Application.XDocuments.NewFromSolution(''urn:bravo:Myname'')
2 - objNewDoc.DOM.selectSingleNode(''//field1'').text = ''HELLO''
As for the ...
