Workflow can be configured to do that. You can also do it from the InfoPath form itself (on submit) but requires that you submit the form first and create the link. Good luck!

Is your machine joined to the domain where your server is where you published the XSN? Make sure your browser is set to Local Intranet when navigating to the site where you have the XSN.
Does the XSN try to access resources on different domains? Are you trying to connect to a SQL database or Web service on open? You'll need to make sure that ...

Hi again,
Given how complex your form is (50 event handlers and custom upgrade.xsl!) I think we should just have a look at your form. We provide this service called "InfoPath Detailing" and we can investigate this issue while we do the detailing. Nobody in this forum is going to figure out your issue without looking at your form and it ...

Hi JKapps,
Thanks for your good English! :) I'm sorry I don't speak Brazilian.
If you only want to copy from one section to another, you can use a rule to copy the fields. Just add a rule with actions to set values.
If the section is a repeating section, you will need to create a new row. You can do this with default data (and hide the ...

Hi J,
Yes, most of our InfoPath forms query SQL databases through web services. Queries alone won't lead to database edits, but you can support writing data back to the database if you need to send your InfoPath forms data to a downstream business process.
Checkboxes and Option Buttons can also be populated using Form Load rules. Simple to ...

Hi Chinmoku_tak (Mr. Silence?)
SharePoint 2010 has a limit of how many fields you can promote. It's better than MOSS 2007 but still fairly limited.
We developed our database accelerator tool back in 2005 to address this issue. There's a free trial of DBXL out there and it's easy to install. You don't even have to install it on a ...

We saw some bugs in IP2003 related to this when using bulleted lists but I don't remember any specific to rich text boxes. Have you performed all service pack updates? What about changing the properties so that it doesn't wrap or something like that?

Hi LKVN01,
Some questions:
How did you change the form? Did you just add new fields?
What's in your XML data soure's default data? Click on data and default data and make sure that you aren't adding new rows there.
Have you changed the upgrade.xsl before?
Any code in your form?
More soon,

Date format is different from SQL (SharePoint format) and XML (InfoPath format), and that may have something to do with your issue. XML wants it in YYYY-MM-DDThh-mm-ss where YYYY is a 4-digit year, MM the 2-digit month, DD the 2-digit day, T a delimiter, hh the 2 digit hour, mm the 2 digit minute and ss the two digit seconds. If SharePoint is not ...

Hi Caeanis,
You might be able to use our XLS to XML tool to do this. It submits to SharePoint and it does handle updates so you don't have to worry about duplicate writes. You could use the pipe character as your delimiter to create the columns in the XLS. You're going to need to spend an hour or two learning how to use the tool, but ...
