• Re: Hide/Show Section Template

Hi, I would suggest purchasing some support time with one of our InfoPath MVP's to resolve this issue, you can purchase support credits on our website here: http://www.qdabra.com/webstore/category/4-support-consultation.aspx Ted

  • Re: How can I make Sharepoint open my infopath forms in the 2007 version?

Have you changed the settings on your computer to make InfoPath 2007 the default for opening XML? Another way that might work is to open InfoPath 2007 and then open the XML directly within InfoPath although that is not a long term solution and is a manual solution so not easy to do all the time. There may be a way to add a custom ...

  • Re: View Permissions

Hi Jason, Can you use "User Roles" in InfoPath? If you use User Roles in your form you will be able to cross check the user against a SharePoint group, an Active Directory group or a hard coded alias in your form. Then you can use on load rules to switch the form to the right view when the form opens. You might find this ...

  • Re: Help with Flagging Digitial Signatures - onafterchange????

Hi, I know this answer doesn't address your question but I thought I would just throw this out there - we have a lot of customers who find it exceedingly difficult to work with Digital Signatures. The whole certificate issue can be a mess and long term maintanence makes this a lot of work. Due to these issues we came up with a unqiue ...

  • Re: View Permissions

Jason, is this "admin page" something you want in the InfoPath form itself? Or something in SharePoint? It's not clear to me exactly where this page is. If it's in InfoPath you could just create an admin "view" in your form that would be editable only by people in the right SharePoint group. Ted

  • Re: One supplier, many products

Hi Misha, Attached is a sample form I put together that might answer your question. Does this help answer your question? I made it so that a user can't add a supplier but can insert mutiple products for a supplier. Without knowing your exact process this may not answer you question but take a look. Also, are you ...

  • Re: InfoPath XML Filter

I'm assuming you are using SharePoint for the workflow - what is the column data type for WeekEndingDetail in SharePoint? Have you tried changing the data type in SharePoint to see if that fixes it?

  • Re: I have the biggest form....

Hi, I would say that is a big form! 832 controls with conditional formatting sounds like a lot of work has been put into this. The C# code, 8,522 lines is a lot - I have seen more than that in an InfoPath form but that is still a lot of code. The big question I have for you is performance: what (if any) performance issues are you ...

  • Re: New to Infopath: How do I create a button that sends a form post to another website?

Hi ShayBod, Did you already try creating a hyperlink by concacetnating values in InfoPath? Using concat you should be able to do this (see this blog that talks about concat in general: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/infopath/archive/2006/04/05/569338.aspx) However you should know that storing the users name and password in the form that way would not ...

  • Re: Infopath form in browser

you will need access to their system to open it. The form template is going to be looking for data connections to their internal web site. You might not be able to open the form without that even with the template. If all you need to do is to see the contents of the form the user on their end should be able to email you a snapshot ...
