Hi talonx and welcome to the forum! It's great to hear that you have found this place helpful. It looks to me that your XPath should work.  You don't really need the extra "/" at the beginning, but it should break anything.  Can you give us a little more context on your problem so we can see what might be going wrong?

InfoPath is actually not a proprietary format from Microsoft, but is, in fact, completely XML standards compliant.  If you change the .xsn extension to a .cab extension, then you can unpackage the template and look at all the underlying files.  All of the files will be free text that you can read, ...
