Hi there,
We have some free InfoPath training on our blog, if you'd like to check it out. Might be a good place to start.

You should have one dropdown and two text boxes, plus conditional formatting.
If option 1 is selected in the dropdown, display text box 1 and hide text box 2.
If option 2 is selected in the dropdown, display text box 2 and hide text box 1.
Does that make sense?

Have you disabled Save/SaveAs in the form?
Consider adding a button labeled CLOSE which simply closes the form without any prompts, so that the users don't click the X to exit the program.

Thanks. Sending via email now.

Hi Ged,
Which version of DBXL are you using?
You might have a DBXL version previous to the DLL being included in the installer. In which case, I would send you the correct DLL.
Thank you.

Hi Richard,
Can you attach the XSN to your next reply? You can do so via the Options tab. I'd like to take a look.
Thanks!

Hi Richard,
I just tried this in my environment and it worked. In my example, if the Customer Name columns is blank, the Phone Number field is not displayed.
I'm attaching a screenshot. Please review your form; there may be an error in the condition?
Hope this helps!

Sounds like you have a lot of controls sending data back to the server (Postback settings = Always).
Try to reduce that number; if a postback is not necessary in a particular instance, it can slow down the performance of a form without adding any benefit. For example, if the value is just pulled in to a field, it's value changes from (blank) ...
