Key performance issues are related to the number of controls in your form and the logic in your form.
There should not be measurable difference between script and visual studio .NET.
Certainly, script is deprecated - you should be using .NET for all of your code.
Better yet, don't use code! Why are you using code? Put that logic in a Web ...

Hi Lucy,
You should install Qdabra's Active Directory Web Service and query that for the information. We have a bunch of videos on YouTube that show how to use it. It's cheap and will save you tons of time plus it has cool features not included in UserProfileService - check out Clayton Cobb's "SharePoint Madness" blog on why ...

Don't use a multiple select listbox. Use a repeating table with a checkbox in it. Then, you can use the checked state in the checkbox to conditionally show just hte ones you want on your print view.

The first rule should be checked to stop applying rules if it succeeds. If it doesn't (because the condition doesn't match), the second rule will fire. There are other ways of doing ...

Hi W,
Yep, Greg's right, but how about a workaround? Have your code set a field in the main data source or a secondary one and then check that.

Hi Carole,
How do you know it didn't work? I'm guessing you are opening the form and it doesn't open the new version right? Well, maybe, the new version is really there, but the InfoPath Filler isn't automatically downloading it. Try this: from Windows Start, select InfoPath Filler and when you get the remove the Available Forms ...

How about using the xpath function "sum" - sum(Price)?
