Well - if you created an InfoPath 2013 form and are trying to open it with an earlier version of InfoPath, you'd get this... but it sounds like you created the form with InfoPath 2013 and are opening it in InfoPath 2013... You can always open the form in design mode again and change the compatibility under File > Form Options > ...

I created a new form with InfoPath 2013, published to a SharePoint 2013 site. Open in the client application. Got this when tried to open:
Form template: /Forms/template.xsn
The form template was created with a newer version of InfoPath. This form template was created by InfoPath version 15.0.0.

What if you go to the form templates library where the content type is - can you open it directly from there? Sorry, I really don't know what is going wrong, just figured it would be worth a try. I'm guessing template.xsn is NOT the content type you actually want. "Form" isn't set as the default content type for the library, ...

I found a solution that solves the problem where InfoPath Filler does not open in browsers other than IE. Check out this article: http://reality-tech.com/SharePoint-incompatible-Chrome

Assuming you have InfoPath form library, and may add another field to show all repeated fields, I'd use concatenation function to show repeated fields.
Sample form is attached,
Let's say xpath of the target field: /my:myFields/my:items/my:item/my:text, and /my:myFields/my:items/my:item is repeating group. ...

Is it possible to view repeated fields values in a textbox in the same document? I was able to get the first value shown and when ever I repeat the table and add a new value the old value in the textbox would be replaced with the newer one...
Any clues please ?
Thank you
