Once a selection has been made in the dropdown, all you need are rules (Set a field's value) to populate your other fields. When calling these actions, you'll need to filter. After all, you have the entire set of list data in the secondary data source (from SharePoint) but you only want the data for the specific item selected in the ...

Hi,
You'll want one UDC per data connection. InfoPath makes it easy to convert each data connection in your form into a UDC file on the server - screenshot attached.
I've never heard of having multiple data connections consolidated into one UDC, but if you find something let me know. I'd be curious to find out.

I don't think you'll be able to run a query on multiple serial numbers, but start out with a simple, out of the box form, and see what you think. Here's a screenshot of where to go in InfoPath 2010 Designer. Hope it helps.

1) Lastname beginning with ‘Ha’
sn=Ha*
2) Users with an email address
mail=*
3) Users with a phone number starting with (425) or ...

Is putting the repeating table inside a section an acceptable workaround for your scenario?

Hola,
El control está disponible en InfoPath 2010 para ciertos tipos de formularios. Si no aparece en la lista de controles, deberás crear otro tipo de formulario para que el mismo aparezca en la lista. Suerte.

As far as I know, there's no way to accomplish this. You've run into an annoying InfoPath limitation that I've run into before. Sadly I have to re-do the formatting on the table if I re-bind it.

Hi-
I tend to add a "helper field", that is, a node in the schema which is not displayed in the canvas. Call it "IsNew", for example. It's default value is 1, but then you can switch it to 0 when the user submits. Based on that field, you can implement conditional formatting in your form, such as disabling the dropdown if ...

I don't think there's anything that qRules can do to help you. Unfortunately, it's a tricky scenario. For example:
(a) If I click the # button for the first line item, its serial number will be SN1203001, right? And if I click the second line item, the serial number will be the same, because the form is checking the ...

Hi-It may be possible using GetAllUsers since it can filter. It's quite an interesting scenario, unfortunately, we don't have any related documentation. I imagine you would:1. Call GetAllUsers for a specific OU2. This brings in all users with their Departments.3. From that result, a list of Departments can be created to populated the ...
