Hi infoNewbie - sorry for the late reply - not sure if this is still causing an issue for you.
Let's say your Access database table columns are: project # and project Member. In this example, there can be many project Members for
each project# e.g.
Project # ...

I enjoy sharing, and I didn't know it said oil! Just a character from one of my favourite TV shows/cartoons.

This might not be the only way to do it, but I've attached an example which does what you describe. Hope it helps.

No other response, so I'll hazard an attempt at helping, but what I describe might not fit your template use exactly - I haven't in particular worked with Sharepoint and I use Infopath 2003.
When I've had forms that connect direct to a database the fields are bound to the database and the form itself doesn't 'store' the ...

Create the fields inside the repeating table as well. You'll have to give them different names of course.
Set the default value of these fields = to the matching field outside the repeating group and tell it to 'update whenever the value of this formula changes'. Don't display the new fields to the user.

The above commands tell the repeating table that each time a row is added, ...

In my IP2003 experience I've only been able to attain silent form submit through instantiating an Outlook object and then building the email using Outlook scripting.
I think any other way you can think of to submit from within IP will require user interaction.
As it is, it sounds like your user is going to have an awkward experience anyway - ...

This code must be in the click event of the button?
I've always found I can use the eventObj object of the event to easily delete the repeating row/section.
First, my remove button is usually inside the repeating section, or in an empty column at the end of the table, or next to the final control in the last column.
Then I call ...
