Hi Eric-
We have qRules users who have reported being able to do this, that is, update the value of columns in a form library using SubmitToSharePointList. See here: http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/t/25681.aspx. However, it's not a scenario we've tested or documented. Wouldn't users continue overwriting each other's work if this ...

Yes, in that case, it seems two lists will be better, so you can have a mapping to Orders followed by a mapping to OrderDetails.

Hi Doreen,
For rowVeh, instead of
100 + count(../preceding-sibling::*) - 1 + 1
I think you want
100 + count(../preceding-sibling::my:VehicleRows) + 1
For rowProperty, instead of
300 + count(../preceding-sibling::*) - 1 + 1
I think you want
300 + count(../preceding-sibling::my:PropertyRows) + 1
For rowEq, instead of

I think it would be simple to apply the same Client ("jens") to the 4 InvoiceNumbers in the screenshot. That way the data becomes "flat".
The second and third mappings would need a new entry like this:

Hi Michael,
Thanks for including the mapping file. From it, I understand that you're mapping three separate paths from your form into the same list. Is this correct?
For all three mappings in the mapping file, the list name is Bestillinger and the Guid is 53647A15-7F52-4CA4-80A3-19554D4875A1.
The first mapping does not map repeating ...

Hi Doreen,
Working out the correct syntax for preceding sibling is tricky sometimes.
If you can attach your form, I'll take a look.
Thanks.

[quote user="tyty4u2"]I will give this a try, thank you. Did you have any thoughts on the best way to calculate inventory? Whether to have one List item in "Inventory List" that Infopath will add and subtract to in the form and update the new value in the list item, or to have each transaction submit to a list as a new item and ...

In the scenario you've described, the last edit "wins".
I don't believe there's an option to lock list items, but your idea sounds interesting:
First query to make sure the usernameLocked column is blank. If it's not blank, someone already locked it so show appropriate error.
You would need to write the list item ...

I've seen this (a long time ago!) and the problem was permissions on the folder where the XSN was deployed.
So take the path to the XSN (XSNlocation), remove the template.xsn portion at the end, and then navigate to that page in the browser. Basically, I recall there was somewhere where you could grant permissions to the location that stores ...
