Hi -- tab stops are located in the control properties (right click the control, select Text Box Properties -- or whatever type of control it is) , under the Advanced tab. Look for the tab index box. Try setting your first field to 1, your second to 2, etc, and see if that helps.....

You bet -- I should have done that to begin with, sorry! Try it again now.

I've uploaded a sample form here that may help you.

Here is some more information on conditional formatting. Can you tell me a little more about what you mean when you say "still nothing"? The post above suggests adding the specific controls you need for each selected options in their own sections, and then showing/hiding the sections based on the selected option. That is correct. I basically took the sample form I'd posted in the downloads earlier in this thread and changed Field2 to a drop down. Then I added a connection to a document library on SharePoint and used it for the data source in my list. I didn't modify anything else.....

When I entered text in field one, the dropdown (field 2) and the other text box (field 3) highlighted with the red asterisk as required. On your dropdown -- is the default item of a blank value? If not, that will be the culprit.

I'll try that. Here is the sample I used -- I went ahead and posted it to the downloads.
