If everything is working except you are switching to a different page when you don't want to, you can just take that line out of the code (or rule). After that simply copy+paste everything on the second page and put it on the page that you want everything to stay on. Am I understanding you correctly?
The LIMIT function would go in the code ...

I'm not sure how you're wanting to transverse the nodes, but you might be able to use the wildcard selector to accomplish this with XPath. Check this out:
child::* Selects all children of the current node

To look for a specific ID you could use an XPath search, like this:
var prNum = prDom.selectSingleNode(''/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/dfs:PR[@Name = 'NAME_OF_FORM'/@ID'').text;

To create a custom submit button you can put in a plaing button and put the submit code in via Edit Form Code on the button.
In the custom submit button code you can put whatever needs to happen before submitting and then at the bottom put XDocument.Submit(); to submit the form just like a regular submit button would. You can use the line I ...

If you are using the connection to a database it might be that the nodes you are trying to access are attribute nodes. This would require you to put a '@' in front of the name to specify them. Try this:
var oRow = ...

On your submit button or onSaveRequest event you could include this code:
XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode( ''XPath/To/sensitiveNode'' ).text = '''';
You could also look into User Roles to determine who is able to see what sections of your form. I hope this helps, I'm not exactly sure of your situation.

No problem, glad you got things working. I'll talk to the team about a HowTo concerning namespaces. There are several already on the web and the W3C has a great tutorial regarding this matter. However, it is not specific to InfoPath.

Good job on resolving your problem! To get the e-mail addresses from your form you can use a line of code like this:
thisXDocument.selectSingleNode( ''XPath/To/Email/Node'' ).text;
After you get all the e-mail addresses you can concatentate them together in the oEmail.To line. Make sure to seperate with a ; .
What's wrong with editing the ...

Hm, this is starting to sound like a bug. Thanks for the steps for reproduction, I'll try to look into it a little more.
Are you just trying to determine if this is a bug or do you have some application in your form? If you are trying to only display the first record returned from the database try putting your IP controls in a layout table ...

You need to capitalize the D in XDocument.
