You can allow users to copy text in the task pane when you place your text into read-only input elements. Remove the borders to make it look like plain text. Example:
<input type=''text'' readonly=''true'' value=''This is a test'' style=''border:none''/>

I don't believe that this is possible, though someone might know of a way to do it using managed code and a full trust form.

Try setting the Vcode field with some random text like, ''TESTING!'' to see if that value is set correctly into the field. If so, you've got that part of the problem working correctly, then we just need to focus on pulling the right vcode value and placing it there.
My guess is that you have the above part working correctly, but that you are not ...
