Hello & welcome!
I would set the other field to the Name field from your secondary data source and then filter based on the ID being equal to the field in you Main DOM connected to the dropdown that is populated from that secondary data source. Does that make sense? Let me know if you need more detail...

Under Tools / Form Options / Compatibility you can select Design a form template that can be opened in a browser or InfoPath and enter the URL of your server. Then, in the task pane, you'll be able to use the Design Checker to look for errors or incompatibilites.

Hello, and welcome!
IP2003 doesn't have any built in functions for adding dates -- I think code may be the only option there. For IP2007, you could add an expression box with the following formula:
concat("We would greatly appreciate your response by ", xdDate:AddDays(xdDate:Today(), 7))

I haven't tried it -- but reading through the tutorial looks pretty straightforward -- there are 3 posts total (look in the May Archive to see all three). He uses a udcx for his receive data, but makes it sound like you could use the web service created by an endpoint for your receive as well. I don't think it would be a huge time ...

Math is definitely not my strong point. I'm attaching the template again, this time using sum & eval, see if this helps.
The formula is sum(eval(group2, "my:field1 * my:field2")). Note that with eval, you can select the group with Insert Field or Group, but must type the expression in manually.

So an expresssion box with the formula Quantity * UnitPrice (with your fields, of course) placed in a column in the repeating table doesn't bring back the per row total price?
For the grand total you could use sum(field) * sum(otherfield). I'm attaching a quick sample to this post, okay?

Hi:
You can add more than one submit connection to a form and then use rules for your submit. Simply add another Submit data connection that submits to email and then, in the form's submit options, select Rules. You can then even add conditions for each submit.
Let me know if you need more detailed information....

Hi, and welcome:
You might want to consider using option buttons instead -- that way you can only select one of them.
However, if you need to use checkboxes, first check the properties on each one to find out what the checked or cleared values are. Then, on each checkbox you can add data validation that is triggered if the other checkbox is ...

This formula will get the URL of your form template, if that is what you are after:
substring-before(substring-after(/processing-instruction()[local-name(.) = "mso-infoPathSolution"], 'href="'), '"')
