Probably, the easiest fix is to just not use a multi-select box. Use a repeating table that looks like one and use eval-eval with concat to create a nice string.

Hi Chino,
If you're using the browser, you will need to either buy or create a Web Service since there's no way to do SQL submits out-of-the-box. DBXL has been around for 7 years and is used by hundreds of organizations. It's simple and gives you a one Web service for all of your forms. That means it saves you a lot of money and time ...

I wouldn't use a Multi-Select List box for this. Just use a repeating table that looks like one. You can always concatenate the results into a single string later if you want using the eval-eval technique.

If InfoPath 2007 is also installed locally, just go to Control Panel and repair the installation.
If you are trying to open from the browser, the fact that you have InfoPath 2003 installed makes no difference. It's probably because the SharePoint site isn't configured to open in the browser, or there is something in the form preventing ...

Or, export the form template (XSN) as source files. Manually edit the schema.xsd tile and add a maxOccurs=100.

If you are saving your form to SharePoint, SQL or a Web Service, just add a button to your form and configure it to Submit to your SharePoint site. It will require the form is valid to submit. To let them save the form even when required fields are missing, you can use qRules ClearErrors command on the button rules to override (but don't ...

Well, you don't need Rule 2 if your default view is the Read Only one. If you are previewing and the rule fails, it will assume the current view that you are on, which could be the Edit one. Look at the status bar to see what role InfoPath thinks the user is. If there's nothing there, maybe it isn't finding the user correctly and ...

No idea. If the form was set up to use a Web service, you could have a relative UDC file that changes based on published environment. You know we do provide a nice loosely coupled Web service for querying external items ... :)

For historic reasons, the Username() function returns the local username. When published to the browser, this no longer makes sense since the logged in user is the server account. Please use UserProfileService to get the user name. Or, you can install a third-party Active Directory Web Service, such as Qdabra's ADWS which has more ...

Hi Shel and welcome!
You have discovered one of the biggest headaches in InfoPath - pagination. There are several techniques - including a blog by Matt Faus, but perhaps the easiest solution is to just limit the number of rows that you display per page such that they will never wrap and insert page break characters. You can add a section to the ...
