When you uncheck the box, .=string(true()) won't be true anymore, because the field's value is now FALSE. So you will need to add another rule with a condition to handle for what you want the value to be if the field bound to the checkbox is false (I think you are going to end up with *lots* of rules!)

Hi:
So you need to copy data from one table to another? We have a free tool for that -- qRules has a copy table command and you can download it here. It won't co-exist with other code, though, so if you are already using code in your form, you'll need to do something like this (C# and not the prettiest code in the world, but it should ...

Hi!
It sounds to me from your description that you have set the rule on the field you wish to have change. Rules fire when the field they are bound to changes, so your rule is waiting for your read only field to change.... which isn't going to happen.

If you can add a view to the SQL database, you could create a view that includes the user role for ...

Hi, and welcome:
You will have to modify your code to the correct XPath for your new form:
user = root.SelectSingleNode("/my:myFields/my:employee", Me.NamespaceManager)
The bold section needs the XPath to the field you'd like to put the user error in. You can right click the field in the Data Source Task Pane on the ...

Well, a print button is going to take code... if you only want the summary view to print, no matter what view of the form the user is in, you could create a print version for your other views that looks like the Summary view. Then, no matter what view they printed from, they'd get the summary....

What happens if you just grab the Files group from the data source and drag it onto the form's surface and insert a section with controls (or right click and select section with controls). Do you get a warning then?
