Hi-
DBXL defines the filename in the data connection that submits to DBXL. That is, your form probably already has a data connection that submits to the DBXLDocumentService. In that data connection, you're asked to define a DBXL::Name token. That's the name that is displayed in the Documents tab in the DBXL Admin Tool and also used as the ...

We accomplish this using qRules' GetInputParameter command. To summarize, you'll have to pass in the values as parameters from one form to the other. Besides qRules, this can be accomplished by writing custom code.

I would check whether case sensitivity matters in your scenario. I've seen cases in InfoPath where it does. i.e. username is JSmith and the form has jsmith.

Hi,
I'm not sure what would be causing your specific error; one would probably need to troubleshoot on the environment to identify the reason why the data connection is failing.
But it sounds like a very complex solution that you're putting together. If you are using the InfoPath filler, then you can simply use the User Roles built in to ...

Can you try a multiple selection list box? You can set up its properties in a way very similar to the dropdown list box.
Perhaps using the multiple selection list box for the second dropdown is the answer!

Can you try:
concat("DeleteFromSharePoint /url=",@my:qRulesLink)
I believe that should do the trick...

I guess I don't understand the scenario. For cascading dropdowns, the user makes a selection in the first dropdown. This triggers a rule or a filter that then populates the second ...

There may be scenarios where you need to use certificates along with making the form Full Trust (for example, custom code) but in the case of qRules most of the functionality will work under Domain Trust and no certificate.
I would first evaluate whether the form needs to be signed. Describe your form (or, even better, attach it when you reply, ...

Hi-
Translate does a character per character replacement, so I don't believe it will work in this scenario.
I would try something like:
concat(substring-before(yourfield, "&")," and ",substring-after(yourfield, "&"))
Of course, the condition on this rule is that the yourfield contains ...

Hi,
I guess I'm confused about the scenario. I can't think of anything in InfoPath that would lock the XSN so that it cannot be designed.
If the file is published to a SharePoint form library or as a SharePoint type, users typically click Add Document to open the form. That is, they don't have visibility into the XSN (to right click ...
