HI Hilary
I did see a similar example from the webinar. In regards to a half day using Qrules DateDiff command, It would be relatively straight forward to calculate the minutes and then convert to hours. Doing it this way though you lose the weekdays component.
pity we cant have /component=weekdays, /totalminutes
Thanks for your input.

That's a pity, anyways thank you Hilary for quick and useful responses!

Attaching a sample that at least shows an hours calc excluding weekends based on an 8 hour day.... sorry, I didn't have a chance today to do much more than this, but hopefully it gives you a jump start. Save the file locally, right click & select design, from there you can preview & look at the logic.

We have this same issue. Did you ever figure out what the problem was?

I am updating an existing form that has a date picker on it, but once I update and upload it is changing the year back to 1899. Has anyone ever had this issue and know how to correct it? I think it could be a version issue but it's set update that when uploading the changed form.

I've attached your form w/ some changes that I think do what you want. I put a second instance of the repeating table from the secondary data source on the form and added a formatting rule and a calculated value w/ the count formula. I also added a form load rule to run the query for that secondary data source again if this is a saved ...

I only need to display the data, we won't be changing or adding to the data from this form. Binding the table to the secondary data source was the only way I'd found of bringing in more than one list item. If I use rules to set field values it only seems to bring in the first entry.

I'll try to put together a little sample later today and attach it to a reply. :)

The only kind of repeating table you can have in a SharePoint list form is one to one with the list items - that is, you can't have child repeating tables. That is just how list forms work. You can repeat the list item node as I mentioned above, but what you are trying to do is not possible in a list form.

Oh - were you hoping to copy the data from the SharePoint list into the main data source? I ask because I see your second repeating table is bound to the main data source... InfoPath won't do that out of the box. Is it okay to just display data from the secondary data source instead?
