Ah, I see. Well, it may be kind of clunky... but you could have more than one filtered repeating table on your form and conditionally show / hide them based on the fields that are populated by the user.... So the table filtered by 'office' only shows if start and end date are blank, but office is filled in....

Hi -- if you look at the properties of the control, is there a 'Format' button available? I have a sneaking suspicion that SharePoint may be giving you your data as strings, in which case you might need to use a formula to clean it up....

Hi--
According to Patrick Halstead's Developing Solutions with Microsoft InfoPath:
The order of processing at startup of a form is:
User roles
Open rules
OnLoad event handler
OnSwitchView event handler
From page 322. Now, that was written for 2003, so browser forms weren't in play, but I'd imaging the processing ...

How are you currently doing this to get dates with in a range? Are you using code? If so, could you post your code sample?

Thank you -- I've forwarded this info on. We should have some trouble shooting ideas for you soon!

Hi, Matt:
Sorry, you can't see the flurry of internal email -- we are trying to get this tracked down and are conferring with one of our senior devs to see if we can get some more trouble shooting ideas on this. Can you check your Qdabra log in your event viewer and see if there are any errors there that might give us more ...

The email field in your main data source is a hyperlink data type? Is that what you mean?
In a test, when I set the value of a field that is of the hyperlink data type, it worked as anticipated, no 'mailto:', no repetition of the value. Do you have some other rule acting on the email field?
Or are you saying you have a hyperlink control ...

Oh, also verify the data in your table is what you expect....
