Hi -- you are submitting and not saving your form? What happens if you change the Submit options to 'Close the form' after submitting? Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 08-07-2009 Re: Running and Debugging InfoPath project in Visual Studio 2008 If you navigate to the InfoPath Form Template folder in the solution and right click manifest.xsf and select 'design', does the form open in design mode? If you preview from that point, what happens? Posted to General (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 08-07-2009 Re: Displaying time correctly Hi -- now() returns date and time, but you can display just time. First, you'll need to change the data type of the field that will have the default value of now() to Date Time. Then, add your text box or expression box that is bound to that field. Then, in the properties of the control, select the Format button. From there, you'll see ... I'm lazy, so it only has 3 read only rows.... I set up the default values for those in Tools / ... Preview to test. Basically, I made the date picker contol just the size of the calendar. Then I added an expression box under it that, once the date is picked, will display ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 08-06-2009 Re: Oracle / Sql data connection Right, your DBA can build an SSIS package to import the PeopleSoft data to a SQL table on a regular schedule. When I was looking for a link to give you with more information on UDC's, I came across this, which kind of has me wondering if you couldn't create a UDC to your PeopleSoft data directly.... Posted to Data Connections (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 08-06-2009 Re: Oracle / Sql data connection Hey, just a thought -- you have a SQL db -- do you have SSIS installed? If so, you could use SSIS to copy data to a SQL table from your PeopleSoft db, couldn't you? And schedule it to run as often as needed to update your SQL table.... That way you wouldn't have to build a web service for your PeopleSoft database. However, if that ...
