I'm not sure if you can do this easily or not. Are you trying to get the filename of the .xsn form template or the .xml data file?
My bet is, that when you open a new form the form does not have a .xml file name until it is saved.

I think you will want to add this line of code underneath your submit button:
XDocument.DataObjects(''NameOfSecondaryDataSource'').Query();

It might be a difference in service pack versions - what service pack are you running now?
Yes, you can add another New Record button in. Just add a regular button, double-click it, choose New Record from the Action drop-down list, and then click OK.

To write to a database only using InfoPath you will have to make the database a data connection on the Main DOM. Do this by choosing Design a From from Data Connection when you make a new form.
The view that is automatically generated included a button called New Record and you can use this button to insert new records into the database.

You could try two things.
''Touch'' the drop-down list to fire the rules:
var original = dropdown.text;
dropdown.text = '''';
dropdown.text = original;
Or, implement the rules in code and run them whenever you insert a new row. I've never personally implemented the first option, but I think it would be better because then you would only have to ...

XDocument.View.SwitchView( e.Site.text );
To generate the event function, find the node that the drop-down list is bound to in the Data Source task pane, Double-click it, choose Data Validation and Event Handlers, select OnAfterChange, and then ...

Check out this post for a workaround (I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but maybe)
quote:Well, it's not EXACTLY a ''header'', but it looks and performs almost exactly the same. If you just make the top margin of the view you're working in less than default, you can put whatever you want (dynamic/static) at the top of each page ...
