Hi,
My InfoPath form has a Start time and End time, but there is no auto-format in the form that I can use to get time with AM/PM. I was thinking by using Concat(Substring) for the text field, etc. But I have no clue. Any suggestion on how to do it is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,

So - with the relative path that was in your expression (which is what InfoPath will build by default, in general) the formula was comparing on just the individual data row - for the given title, it was looking at path in the same row. By changing that to an absolute path, the formula is comparing the title to all the returned paths. In ...

Hi Hilary
That works now perfectly, I just added one condition, the expression as per above and all is fine!
I'm not going to pretend I know why so I'll have to look up differences between relative and absolute paths
Since I;ve been trying to get this to work they have asked me to limit some path movements by user, now I believe ...

Thanks. I opened the from on my laptop, which is where I published it from and I checked the Form Options--> Security and Trust, and it is set to automatically determine security level

No - they shouldn't need admin access to the drive. You might want to check the form options > security and make sure that it is set to automatically determine the security level, then republish it. The message you are getting is one I usually have seen when someone is opening a saved XSN instead of a published XSN. I don't have a ...

Thanks. I published it, but now even when I double click on it from the network drive to launch it, I get the message "This form cannot be opened because it requires the domain permission level and it currently has restricted permission. To fix this problem, open the form from the location it was published to". It also says ...

Hi,
I have an InfoPath form library that will be sent via email instead of a document library once the user clicks submit. This is something that I never tried before. So, I am not sure how it's supposed to be worked as I don't know where the form should be located/saved to start a new form and how to set permissions for ...

Oh, I see the difference now! Changing the last filter on your dropdown the "The expression" and doing the same with mine, I see you are using a relative path to a field where I'm using an absolute path. Try this expression:
. = ...

No I wasn't doing that , I set it as "Stage 1" and now only Stage 1 shows in the field
My list will be simple as per attached and as outlined above, 2 columns, one with Stage and one with Path
If something else is needed to make it work I'm fine with that but can' t seem to get your xml method to work either in my form ...

About halfway down this page: https://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/31675/107966.aspx there is a reply from me w/ a screenshot - looks like at that time I suggested using the mapped drive letter on the earlier dialog in the publishing wizard but the full path on the later screen. This may help.
