Re: Can I Populate Values from One Form into Another?

Hi: To use form fields for your /date1 and /date2 parameters, you'll need to use the concat function. So, for the value in the rule action (where you are setting the command), the formula would look like: concat("DateDiff /date1=", Date1, " /date2=", Date2, " /component=totaldays) qRules installs with a sample form ...

Re: Auto-Number SQL Query Results Infopath 2007

You are displaying the returned results in a repeating section or table, right? Just add an expression box in another column (for a table) or in the section that uses the position() function... that will give you a row number. You can also use an expression box at the top of the form somewhere that uses the count funtion to return a count of the ...

Re: Filtering an external data source using an expression contained in the external data

Hi, Stefan: I'm afraid I don't quite understand what you are tyring to do. I believe you want to filter the entries in a listbox that come from a secondary data source but I don't understand what you want to filter on. What would @precond need to be equal to (or less than, greater than, etc) for you to select a Transition value?

Re: Getting problem withe the search option in the Sharepoint Site

I'd highly recommend you try posting this at a SharePoint forum, then. This forum is intended for InfoPath developers, and there may not be many people here who are familiar with search set up in SharePoint.

Re: Listing multiple recipients.

Are you selecting the underlined portion of the formula using the insert field or group button? Did you walk through the tutorial I provided a link to, and try it first to make sure you understand how the double eval formula works? As I mentioned, my suggestion was only a guess based on what I can see from your screen shot...

re: Fun with Sequential Form IDs, SQL and Sprocs!

Yes, that is a limitation of browser forms. Perhaps you could use Submit instead of Save? I believe you can use custom code for Submit in a browser form.

Re: Reporting service and infopath

I'm not seeing anything online for reporting off the XML. Are you using SharePoint? If you promote fields from your form, you could report off the SharePoint Form Library the XML is submitted to. Here's an article on that....

Re: Repeating table question

Is the repeating table you want to load the data into in your main data source? Is your form bound to the database (that is, did you base your form off the database when you created it)? If your form is not bound to the database, and you are using built in InfoPath SQL data connections to get this data back, without writing code your only option ...
