Which line generates the error? What is the error? I think you don't want () after Value, by the way, it is a property, not a method.

Can you attach your form so we can see what is going wrong? Under the Options tab in your reply, you'll find a spot to attach a file...

As I recall the current() function behaves differently in 2003 and 2007. I think instead of a default value, you may need to use a rule to set the field.

If you post your code, that would help. So, your submit is failing in the browser form? And the code opening the new form isn't being reached?

What version of InfoPath are you using? 2003 or 2007?

Experiment with the sample Shiraz attached to his post, but as I recall, you need to change the 'div 8' part of the formulas to 'div 30' (or whatever your requirement happens to be).
