Hi -- I think you'll need to install Visual Studio Tools for Office, if you don't already have it. Then, you'll see Office projects in the Visual C# group. You can select InfoPath Form Template. You'll have an option to either use an existing template or create a new one after you create the project. Oh, I use VS 2005 -- other ...

As I mentioned in my email, try:
The expression ../@Prod_id = current()/@Product_id

Hi--
Just to clarify, use the query fields for the filter for your query. Then, on your form, you also need to display fields bound to the date fields in order to see the returned data. It may make it easier to understand if you just drag the whole data source on to your form and select 'Section with Controls' to see all the data ...

Okay. So they only use the Retrieve button if they are trying to update an existing record? I did notice that the repeating section with your controls is unbound, not sure if that is part of the problem you are having, but it is something you'll want to fix.

Yup, switching views immediately prior to sending an email will generate a blank email. Instead of a new view, use sections with conditional formatting.
You can add a utility field (to your main data source, or to a secondary XML data source) called 'IsEmailing' or some such. Have two sections on your form, one that is displayed while ...

You should always go through the data connection wizard again when you change the database table. You are doing the right thing as far as that's concerned. My concern is with your query. If you are querying for an existing record, then changing it and resubmitting, you will always overwrite that row. Does that make sense? But it seems from ...

When you changed the table from using the Date as the PK, did you walk through the data connection wizard again for your main data connection in the form? I'm thinking you must have, or you would have had other errors / odd behaviors.... Are you using any query fields on your form? Do you mind attaching your forms to a reply post? Under the ...
