This is a form issue - that is, we won't really know what's going on without seeing the form itself. I would imagine that you have a rule or something else happening on load that is preventing the form from opening. Open the form in design mode and try to narrow it down to see if you can identify the culprit. Good luck!

Yes, you can set up conditional formatting on the button. Of course, you would first need a way to determine who the current user is. This can be accomplished, for example, by querying active directory. Do you have a way of doing so? If yes, then query active directory to determine who the current user is, and then set up conditional ...

Hi-
The Refresh command is typically used when reopening a form, to make sure that the form has the latest list data. I can't imagine a need to use it right after using the SubmitToSharePointList command but let us know more about your scenario.
The command does need the same /mapping as the mapping file. The dsname is a owssvr data ...

Hi,
Do you have nodes in your main data source to store the original requester's information? If you don't add the nodes. Then...
If the form opens and the original requester field is blank, we can assume that the form is new. So, add a rule that sets the value of the original requested field IF it is blank. At that point, you're ...

I wonder whether a new, simple SharePoint list mapping would work. Would you be willing to step thru a very simple form mapping to a very simple list, and verify whether that works correctly? This would at least tell us whether it is an issue with the environment or the form.
A. If your simple (new) form and new mapping work, then it's an ...

Change the form and form library so that it opens in the client instead of the browser. This will allow you to get a better message about what it truly going on. Good luck.
