The only way I know of to do this without using web services is to write custom code. This link has some basic code for creating a SQL connection in code.

Hi:
I don't know of a simple way to do this... but I wonder about this solution suggested by the InfoPath team might be a workaround for you? An Access DB linked to the Excel sheet could provide a secondary data source to the form?
Of course, then you'd have the issue of trying to get the data from the secondary data source into your ...

I don't believe this is possible. What about having another column in your repeating table that has a checkbox control in it, and the user clicks the checkbox to select rows? Then your delete button has code to delete only the rows where checkboxField = true?

You'll need to add the processing instructions to your XML that you generate in code. Compare the XML from a document created by your template to the XML you are generating by opening both with a text editor like notepad. You'll see processing instructions at the beginning of the IP generated XML. This blog post has some additional ...

We've had an email thread going on this, but wanted to respond in the forum to your bold question above. InfoPath web service data connections always have you enter sample values and make a call to the web service -- this is the point when IP creates the schema files for your web service connection.

Hi, David:
You have another post on your web service, about rewriting it so it doesn't return a choice group. Did that correct this issue for you so that you could use the CopyTable command in qRules?

Sure. For 2003, per MSDN:
XDocument newDocument;
newDocument = thisApplication.XDocuments. NewFromSolution (@"C:\MyForm.xsn");

As far as I know the only way to do this is code -- but if you search the forum you may find some alternatives. For example, a poster in this thread says:
We are using lotus notes where I work and to submit forms with email I use the domino connector for lotus notes\outlook. Basically it opens with outlook and sends the message which then goes ...
